Over 40 students from K4 took part in "An access to Oil and Gas industry" last Saturday, January 24. The event was held by SPE PVU to help K4 students gain some overall knowledge about oil and gas industry. Mr. Pham Quoc Anh (President of SPE PVU Student Chapter), Ms Phung Thi Hue (Secretary), Ms Tran Thanh My Hanh (Treasurer) and Mr To Van Nho were the featured speakers, inspiring participants about oil and gas industry with overall information about each majors. |

Mr Quoc Anh and Ms Hue also shared their experiences of choosing majors wisely such as the qualities that an engineer need, work environments and some advices they got from summer internship. Besides, the speakers answered all queries that were asked. These will help K4 students get over all the doubts and choose their subjects reasonably.

As a member of SPE PVU joined the event, when I looked at the smiles and satisfaction on the face of K4 students, I believed that the speakers had inspired them a lot. With the encouragement from enthusiastic speakers, they will overcome all challenges to get a higher standard and become a chief engineer. It was truly an event to remember.
